Our experienced psychiatrists, consulting psychologists, nurses, therapists, social workers, case managers and other specialists work together with one goal in mind – helping each resident achieve his or her highest level of independence.
BEN Y. ROBINSON, MA, MBA
PRESIDENT & CEO
Ben has been President & CEO of Rose Hill Center since 2007. Prior to that, he served as a senior officer managing overall operations for Lutheran Social Services in Michigan and Ohio, and as the CEO of Adult Well-Being Services in Detroit. Ben has more than 35 years of experience in mental health services. He has a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and psychology as well as a master’s degree in guidance and counseling, both from the University of Michigan. He also has an MBA in business economics from Wayne State University.
Ben is the past chairman of the Advisory Council on Mental Illness for the Michigan Department of Community Health, on which he served from 1995 to 2012. Since then he has served on the successor Behavioral Health Advisory Council for the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. He is the Treasurer of the Provider Alliance and serves on the Executive Board of the Michigan Association of Community Mental Health Boards, and he is a Trustee and past Treasurer of the Hannan Foundation in Detroit.
As President & CEO of Rose Hill, Ben leads all aspects of Rose Hill's operations including the medical and clinical teams, admissions, fundraising, public policy and financial management.

CHERYL LECLEAR WALLACE, MSW
VICE PRESIDENT OF PROGRAMS
Cheryl was appointed Vice President of Programs at Rose Hill Center in 2009. She has more than 30 years of experience in the field of mental health services, 25 of those with Community Mental Health Programs. Cheryl is a Licensed Master’s level Social Worker, with a master’s degree in social work from Eastern Michigan University along with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Michigan. She is also certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) from Behavioral Tech LLP.E and is trained in Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Schema Therapy and Trauma Therapy.
Directed by Cheryl LeClear Wallace, the clinical team at Rose Hill delivers the therapeutic and skill development programs that help patients master daily living skills. This team includes psychologists, therapists, case managers, dietician, nurses, employment advisors and work team leaders.

CHRISTINA ZACHAR, MD
Dr. Zachar joined the Rose Hill staff as a psychiatrist in 2011 and was appointed Medical Director in 2016. She is a 1994 graduate of Michigan State University School of Medicine, where she completed the adult psychiatry residency and was chief psychiatric resident at Henry Ford Hospital. Dr Zachar has specialized in behavior health for more than 15 years and currently is the psychiatric director at a nonprofit mental health agency in Jackson that provides patients with essential and intensive outpatient services.
LYNNE M. LYONS, MD
Dr. Lyons has been on our staff as a psychiatrist since 1999. A 1995 graduate of the Wayne State University School of Medicine, she completed her adult psychiatric residency, and was chief resident at the University of Michigan Department of Psychiatry in 1999. In addition to her longstanding position caring for the residents at Rose Hill, she practices at, and is the medical director of, 2 outpatient clinics in Oakland County. Dr. Lyons is involved in both the Michigan Psychiatric Society and APA.
